Fēnxiǎng is a peer-to-peer fashion marketplace. Our platform makes it easy to buy, sell and rent contemporary pieces, keeping style in circulation and waste out of wardrobes.
Fēnxiǎng is where conscious style meets community, a space for those who love fashion and want to do good while looking good.

We know sizing can be tricky — every brand fits a little differently.
The best part about Fēnxiǎng is that it’s a community of women who share the same fashion values. If you are unsure about a size or fit, you can message the owner directly on the platform to ask about fit, fabric, length, or anything else you’re unsure about!
A little message goes a long way — and helps make sure the piece feels just right.
Renting
If the item is listed for resale you can buy it.
Simply select “Buy Now” and complete the purchase.
Rental periods start from 2 days, and can be extended up to 90 days, depending on availability.
For example, if your event is on 1 October, your rental should begin on that day so the lender can ensure the item arrives in time. You would then send it back on 2 October, which would count as a 2-day rental.
Yes, — if the item hasn’t been booked by someone else you can definitely extend your rental.
Contact us 24–48 hours before your rental ends, and we’ll help arrange the extension for you.
Yes — you can rent multiple items at once, subject to availability.
To make things easier, we recommend coordinating with lenders where possible so items can be sent to the same address or arranged for collection in one place.
Please contact us immediately if your rental hasn’t arrived in time.
If your item arrives too late for your booking, you can receive a full refund, provided the item is returned within 24 hours.
Please contact Fēnxiǎng on the day you receive the item if you have any concerns.
We’ll help find the best solution — this could include exchanging the item (if possible) or arranging a partial refund.
Tip: Message the lender before renting if you're unsure about sizing.
We always try our best to make sure all items accepted are high quality. If for whatever reason your rental arrives in poor condition, please contact Fēnxiǎng immediately via WhatsApp, email, or Instagram and we will do our best to help you.
To be eligible for a refund, the item must be returned within 24 hours.
Sometimes plans change — we get it. This is why we have a flexible cancellation policy in place.
Cancellation policy:
• More than 10 days before rental start → Full refund
• Within 10 days → 50% refund
• Within 48 hours → Non-refundable

Yes, you can sell your rental clothing as second-hand items. When listing your items for rental, there is an option to choose to sell your items as well. Keep in mind that resale items should be listed lower than original RRP.
Yes. You can message lenders directly to ask questions about sizing or fit.
In some cases, lenders may allow try-ons before confirming a booking. It’s always worth asking.
Lending (Renting Out Your Clothes)
We believe in conscious fashion and sharing the best with our community. We do not accept:
•Fast fashion brands
•Damaged items
•Underwear or loungewear
•Costumes or uniforms
•Counterfeit goods
We focus on quality pieces worth sharing again and again.
If your item hasn’t been returned by the agreed date, the renter may be liable for late fees.

Pricing is up to the sharer/seller, however, as a guideline we recommend:
Daily rental = 3–5% of the original retail price
When listing the item you will have the option to add a cleaning cost too.

Yes. Lenders always have control over whether they accept or decline a rental request.
That’s an important part of keeping the community comfortable, flexible, and built on trust.
If an item is lost, stolen, or damaged during a rental, Fēnxiǎng will help facilitate reimbursement from the renter for the repair cost or value of the item.
This may be up to the item’s original retail price, depending on the circumstances.
Buying & Selling
Yes — Fēnxiǎng is not just for rentals. You can also buy pre-loved pieces directly from the community.
It’s a simple way to shop contemporary fashion more consciously and give great pieces another life.
Yes — if you want to ask about fit, condition, fabric, measurements, or styling, we encourage you to message first.
Yes. Simply choose the resale option when listing your item.
Once sold, drop or ship the item to the buyer and receive payment securely through Stripe.
All resale items should be listed honestly and arrive in the condition shown and described.
We recommend sellers check carefully for stains, marks, missing buttons, loose threads, odours, or signs of wear before listing.
Most contemporary fashion resells best at 30–60% of its original retail price, depending on condition and demand.

Shipping & Returns
Return the item using the lender’s preferred method:
• Fēnxiǎng drop-off location
•Direct return to lender
•SF Express courier
Items must be sent back on the final rental day.
No. All shipping must be completed within Hong Kong using local courier services.
Items are delivered via:

SF delivery fees are paid by the buyer / renter.
Payments & Fees
All payments are securely processed through Stripe, which accepts major credit cards.
Rental fees
For rentals, Fēnxiǎng charges a 20% service fee, which is included in the renter’s total price.
Resale fees
For resale, Fēnxiǎng deducts a 20% service fee from the seller once the item is sold.
This helps us run the platform, support the community, and keep wardrobes circulating.
The price of your rental includes the rental fee, Fēnxiǎng fee and cleaning fee.
If applicable, delivery fee will be charged directly through SF express.
Yes, If an item is returned late, the lender can charge the renter late fees.
Lender payouts are processed at the end of each month. You will be asked for your bank details after you lend out your first item.
Item Care & Damage
No. Cleaning is handled by the lender, and the cost is included in the rental price.
Just return the item as you received it.
If you accidentally damage the item during your rental, including marks or stains, please inform Fēnxiǎng immediately. You may have to pay an additional cleaning fee.
Minor wear is expected, but significant damage may incur additional charges.
Please notify Fēnxiǎng immediately if an issue occurs.
Items should arrive with the renter / buyer in the condition shown in the listing.
After returning, lenders are responsible for cleaning the item.
If extra cleaning is needed because of stains or damage caused during the rental, the renter may be charged an additional cleaning fee. We recommend keeping cleaning receipts as proof where needed.
Please treat every piece as if it were your own. We recommend that renters:
Follow any care instructions provided
Avoid alterations or modifications
Take care with makeup, perfume and deodorant
Avoid wearing items in situations where they are likely to get damaged
Protect items from rain, mud, and heavy exposure to the elements
Listing & Wardrobe Guidelines
Great listings include:
Clear, well-lit photos
Front and back views
Fit photos if possible
Accurate colour representation
Clean, wrinkle-free presentation
A consistent background and style
The better your listing, the faster it sells or rents.
Before listing, we recommend:
Checking for stains, damage, or odours
Cleaning the item properly
Making any small repairs, such as loose threads or missing buttons
Doing a final check before shipping
A little prep goes a long way!
Please pack items securely using suitable packaging that protects the garment in transit.
We also recommend shipping promptly after a rental or sale is confirmed to create the best experience for the renter or buyer.
Safety & Community
Proof of condition helps protect both renters and lenders.
We strongly recommend:
For lenders:
Take photos of your item before sending it out.
For renters:
Take photos as soon as the item arrives, and again before returning it.
If a renter receives an item in poor condition, they must notify Fēnxiǎng within 24 hours to be eligible for a refund.
Fēnxiǎng’s priority is the safety and security of your wardrobe.
We prioritise trust and transparency.
All users must provide an address and phone number.
Members also leave reviews after each transaction to build community trust.
The lender has full control in accepting or declining rental requests.
All users must adhere to our Terms of Service.
If an item is lost, stolen, or seriously damaged, Fēnxiǎng will help facilitate reimbursement from the renter.
This may cover repair costs or reimbursement up to the item’s original retail value, depending on the case.
